Every exterior carries years of dirt, dust, salt, chalk and organic growth. We pressure clean the whole surface back to a sound, clean base first, because a coating applied over a dirty wall simply won't bond and will fail early.
Scraping & sanding
Flaking and failed paint is scraped and sanded back to a sound surface, and edges are feathered smooth so old and new blend. Recoating over loose paint just means the new coat peels away with the old.
